MOAB Assassin is the 4th upgrade on Path 2 of the Bomb Shooter in Bloons TD Battles 2. It is similar to its BTD6 counterpart, except without initial cooldown and its ability cannot soak through layers (just like in Battles 1), and still locked on Strong.

It grants a new ability that fires a missile dealing 750 damage to the strongest visible MOAB-class bloon on screen and creates a 3 damage explosion with 100 pierce when the missile explodes, with a cooldown of 30 seconds. Alongside its new ability, its missiles now deal 31 damage to MOAB-class bloons (instead of 16) and 5 damage to Ceramics, while still dealing 1 damage to all other bloons. Additionally, MOAB Assassin adds +5 range on top of the MOAB Mauler upgrade, which in itself has extra range on top of Missile Launcher; its base range increases from 49 to 54.

It costs $3,200, and is unlocked by default.

Summary[]

MOAB Assassins do high single-target blimp damage, mainly with its ability that works well against single-target blimps. It is mainly used to handle ZOMGs, DDTs, and BADs.

Tips[]

Use crosspathing choice based on the MOAB Mauler. 1-4-0 is usually better, though 0-4-2 can be used for reliability against DDTs with main explosions.
- 0-4-2 is not required for the Assassin ability to damage DDTs.
