Luminous Cove is an Intermediate difficulty map in Bloons TD 6. It was added in Version 44.0, along with the Mermonkey.
Overview[]
Luminous Cove is set underwater. All of the placeable water are ponds. There's some purple-colored land that allows land placement.
Bloons descend down two springs. On odd rounds, the bloons start from the left side at the top, and loop clockwise around the heart-shaped middle and then exit to the bottom-right. On even rounds, the bloons start from the right side at the top, and loop anticlockwise around the heart-shaped middle and then exit to the bottom-left.
There is a large stone carving in the back depicting Mermonkeys. The stone carving in the middle of the map starts covered by seaweed, which can be removed by clicking. If you get a Tier 5 Mermonkey a light will start glowing on one of the mermonkey carvings that correlates with one of the Tier 5s, if the top path is bought, it will have the leftmost one light up, if the middle path is bought, it will have the middle one light up, if the bottom path is bought, it will have the rightmost one light up. Once all lights are on, the carving can be removed to unlock an extra water area. Simply tap the fully activated carving, and it will reveal itself.

Tips[]
- Much of the early-game is best suited for water towers.
- Monkey Sub is a good starting tower.
- Mermonkey is a good starting tower on this map, enough to save up for its upgrades and eventually to moderately expensive heroes such as Brickell.
- The Mermonkey secret is worth the investment if going for a heavy Buccaneer farming strategy, or just needing a lot more water. Selling the Mermonkeys once the secret unlocks does not revert the extra water.
- Because most of the valuable early-game space is positioned near the middle, it is difficult to avoid Ranked Penalty Timers in Boss Bloon Event and CT Bosses.

Trivia[]
- Luminous Cove is the first map added since the rework to unlocking Intermediate and harder maps to involve beating a set number of unique maps instead of just unlocking previous difficulties of maps.
- This is the first track to use "Winter Nights Chilled" soundtrack as default.
- This is also the first track to use a soundtrack purchasable in the Trophy Store as default.
