Makes the Dart Monkey shoot further than normal.
~ In-game description

Long Range Darts is the first upgrade of Path 3 for the Dart Monkey in Bloons TD 6. When bought, the upgrade gives the Dart Monkey a green band on each arm and increases its range by 25%, (specifically from 32 to 40) and projectile lifespan by 15%.

This upgrade costs $75 on Easy, $90 on Medium, $95 on Hard, and $110 on Impoppable.

This upgrade gives the Dart Monkey green wristbands.

Gains +8 range and +15% projectile lifespan.

Targeting Priorities[]

Long Range Darts targets bloons using the standard targeting priorities. It shoots straight movement projectiles.

  • First: Targets the first bloon visible within its range.
  • Last: Targets the last bloon visible within its range.
  • Close: Targets the closest bloon visible within its range.
  • Strong: Targets the strongest bloon visible within its range.

Adding Enhanced Eyesight adds Camo Prioritization, allowing all its attacks to prioritize Camo Bloons over other types when this secondary targeting option is active.

More range can be useful in a few select scenarios where needing to shoot further is necessary, but this upgrade alone generally is not worth getting over other upgrades.

  • Simply buy this upgrade if more range is necessary. This may help the Dart Monkey throw along straight lines more effectively or to simply reach bloons from further.

Version History[]

Gains a projectile speed increase similarly to Enhanced Eyesight in many updates ago.

To add a little more synergetic crosspath use for the Juggernaut 402 crosspath, xx2 will now also grant bonus projectile lifespan, this applies to any use of that crosspath though we feel it will in particular pair nicely with the ricocheting projectiles. [...]

  • Buff Long Range Darts also increases projectile lifespan +15%
