Living On the Edge

“	Win any non-CHIMPS/Impoppable game with only 1 life remaining	”

Living On the Edge is an achievement added in Version 21.0 in Bloons TD 6. To get this achievement, one has to complete a game that isn't Impoppable or CHIMPS with exactly 1 life remaining. Completing this achievement awards the player with 100 and a 0-0-2 Druid.

Tips

• Since Heli Pilot, Mortar Monkey, and Dartling Gunner have controllable attacks, their attacks can be moved away from the track to allow bloons to leak.
• Ezili's Sacrificial Totem takes away 10 lives when used (1 at higher levels). This can be used without having to worry about leaking the wrong numbers of Bloons, or if Mana Shield's effect will absorb some of the life losses, since the totem will bypass the Mana Shield to take the lives.
• Marketplaces with the Healthy Bananas MK and Jungle's Bounty Druids restore 1 life every round. Try specifically playing around with these towers to adjust the life count to a very specific amount.
• The first round contains 20 red bloons. If timed right, you can easily pop exactly one bloon by placing a tower, which can be helpful with Ezili's totems. (You may need to disable Monkey Knowledge for the first round if you have Mana Shield.)
• The second round contains 35 red bloons. The above can be done instead on the second round (while letting the entire first round leak) if you have Mana Shield. This should result in the net loss of 29 lives after the depletion of your Mana Shield.
• Don't use Benjamin as level 6 Benjamin restores 5 lives at end of each round

Strategies

• Strategies on Easy difficulty without the Monkey Knowledges Mana Shield and Pre-Game Prep (turn off Monkey Knowledge)
  • Leaking the entire rounds 2, 3, 4, 5 will reduce lives to 0. To be at 1 life, pop only 1 bloon in round 2 by using a 1 pierce tower (ex. sniper)
  • Leaking the entire rounds 4, 12 and 17 will reduce the lives to 200-71-80-48 = 1.
  • If you have both Monkey Knowledge points, leak rounds 3, 4, 6 and 8 instead.
