Great White, Orca, and Megalodon attaching to a BAD
Latch To Bloon is an attack style characterized by using an attack to latch onto a bloon. It is part of the damage types family.
Latch To Bloon is represented on the Bloons Wiki as
, the ability for Monkey Pirates in Bloons TD 6, since a hook obviously latches onto bloons. It typically involves using a hook to latch onto a bloon, but sometimes can be done by other means, provided the "projectile" can stick onto the bloon. Latch To Bloon involves sticking the origin of the projectile onto a bloon. It is sometimes accompanied with Instakill
, as well as Trap
to accompany a forced interaction with a bloon. Latch To Bloon is not the same as adding a status effect, since an attack utilizing Latch To Bloon is considered a projectile with its origin attached onto a bloon, not a status effect on a bloon.
Most towers require an upgrade to gain Latch To Bloon.
Trivia[]
- Ninja Kiwi mentioned the Latch To Bloon attack behavior officially in their Version 38.2 when addressing a bug fix that patches a crash with Great White's "Latch To Bloon behavior".
