Last Resort is an Advanced Map in Bloons TD 6. It was introduced in the Version 46.0 along with Crucible of Steel and Flame and Battle Cat.
Overview[]
This map is a frozen and more difficult version of Resort. Everything has been covered with snow, and in some places snow heaps block tower placement. An area around two lounge chairs has been lifted, blocking Line of Sight and preventing towers from being placed on them. Two snowmonkeys lie on those chairs. There is a lantern in the small loop. The pool has frozen, and umbrellas are replaced with palms. A spot of the pool can also be broken for a water tower to be placed on for $1000.
Bloons go from the left side, it alternatively 4 rounds between from the largest to smallest rectangle and finally just straight to the exit.

Summary[]
This map is deceptively difficult, however it's easier than most Expert maps. The 4 alternating paths vary in length significantly, causing the difficulty of individual rounds to be highly variable. In an attempt to slightly compensate for this, the bloons' movement speed changes each round in a way that is inversely proportional to the current path's length - however these changes are fairly subtle. The best tower placement spots in Resort are now blocked by obstacles, posing another challenge.
Tips[]
- The variable speeds can throw off players. Slower attacking towers will likely struggle.
- The single-lane nature of the map allows for Perma-Spike, a powerful exit protector.
- Every 4th round is a straight shot to the end, including difficult blimp rounds such as 40 or 100. It is wise to make use of towers that can deal with MOAB-class bloons efficiently.
- Towers in the top right part of the map will have an easier time dealing with rounds where the bloons make a medium or a small loop. This is especially important at the beginning of a CHIMPS game.
- Consider using an Ice Monkey or a Glue Gunner to give your towers more time to deal with the bloons.
- Some of the ice can be removed for 1,000$, allowing placement of a single water tower. This tends to be a good idea due to the limited amount of good tower spots on this map.
