Laser Vision is the second upgrade for the Super Monkey tower that appears in BTD2, BTD3, and BTD4. In BTD5, this upgrade is called Laser Blasts. It shoots at the same rate as the Super Monkey's darts, but each projectile can pop two bloons instead of one, as with the darts. It can also pop frozen bloons and costs $2975 on Easy, $3500 on Medium and $3780 on Hard.
Laser Vision is one of the more economical upgrades as one can pop bloons at double the rate at a lower price than the actual super monkey itself (that's like having two Super Monkeys for less than the price of both).
Trivia
- Laser Vision can't pop Lead Bloons, though in Bloons 2 they can destroy metal blocks.
- Laser Vision can pop Lead Bloons in BTD4 iOS.
- A Robo Monkey with Laser Vision is not much better then a normal Super Monkey with laser vision due to the fact that it only shoots 1, instead of 2 lasers out of each robotic arm. The only real differences are that the Robo Monkey can target 2 bloons at once & pop leads.
