4-0-2 Juggernaut

Juggernaut is the 4th upgrade of Path 1 the Dart Monkey in Bloons TD Battles 2. It is similar to its BTD6 counterpart, except it deals 1 less damage to Ceramics, no bonus damage to Fortified, does not apply knockback.

Upgrading to Juggernaut increases the damage, pierce, projectile speed and projectile size of the spiked balls thrown by the tower, dealing 2 damage to regular bloons and 4 to ceramics, and hitting up to 50 bloons per shot. Range is not increased but base range remains at 36.8, +15% more range than the base Dart.

It costs $1,800, and is unlocked by default.

Strategy[]

Summary[]

Unlike its Battles 1 counterpart, Juggernaut does extra bloon damage in exchange for less pierce, and can bounce off obstacles. In this case, Juggernaut is best used for excelling in the early-game against eco sends. Because it deals multiple regular bloon damage at base, it is not as effective at countering large grouped rushes, since split bloons clog up pierce of subsequent juggernaut balls, hence performing poorly against massive Regrow rushes. Straight line formations are still key for Juggernaut, as this optimizes the high pierce potential of each ball.

Tips[]

  • 4-2-0 is usually better for the maximized attack speed, though 4-0-2 has its uses against Camos, especially Camo Leads.
