Dr Monkey's jetpack technology means you can pop bloons from anywhere!
~ BATTD description

The Jetpack is an Epic Trinket in Bloons Adventure Time TD. It has no character restrictions, letting any character equip it.

Description[]

It appears to be a dark-gray mechanized backpack with a circular light source and two wings on the back. It resembles the back accessory that a Super Monkey wears in BSM2 Mobile when Solid Doom is equipped.

Strategy[]

  • Equip it to Commander Cassie so she can be put on land. She shoots darts very fast making her suitable to defeat a BAD. Additionally, her Scramble upgrade can now be used to more effectively duplicate copies of Allies (especially Technological Terrors) even if the map has no water.
  • It may also be equipped to Captain Cassie to allow more water space for Pirate Crew allies. Additionally, she can be brought to any map without water where players can also utilize her Treasure Hunter upgrade (assuming she is near Supermonkey with the Sun Avatar upgrade) or MOAB Takedown ability.
  • Since Ice King already can be placed on any possible placeable terrain type (Land, Water, Lava) by default, the Jetpack would be useless on him.
  • Since each map in BATTD can only be either land-water, land-lava, underwater, or land-only, it may be more effective to use other trinkets that grant placement of said terrain type (Blazing Feet or Red Cowboy Boots for lava; Dive Suit, Magic Carpet, or Candy Dive Suit (also for lava) for water) in certain maps as they also give additional stat boosts and passive effects that Jetpack does not have. Nevertheless, Jetpack is still a great trinket for land characters if you don't want to swap trinkets every time you play a different map.

Trivia[]

  • The Jetpack is the only trinket that grants land placement to a character (excluding allies).
    • If the player must place allies on incompatible terrains, Lady Rainicorn may assist them in doing that.
  • A character with both Jetpack (or other terrain placement trinket) and BMO's Skateboard equipped can move to available space of a terrain type other than one's own, and vice versa.
  • Jetpack appears to be based on the technology from Dr. Monkey, according to the Jetpack's description.
