The Insect Repellant Bloon is a bloon that has appeared exclusively in Hot Air Bloon iOS. It only exists for third stage in the third level of Hot Air Bloon iOS, and it provides Insect Repellant to the player so that wasps do not close in on the monkey. This bloon has not appeared in any other game. The Oxygen Bloon and Ice Bloon fulfill a similar purpose in their respective levels.

The Insect Repellant Bloon is a bloon exclusive to Hot Air Bloon iOS. Its sole purpose is to provide the player with Insect Repellant to prevent them from dying. Thus, the player should try to pop as many Insect Repellant bloons as possible. The player is allowed to miss two Insect Repellant bloons before dying. Thus, the player should prioritize not landing on the border obstacles of the screen, even if it means they will miss one or two Insect Repellant bloon.
