Improved Rangs is the 1st upgrade on Path 1 of the Boomerang Monkey in Bloons TD Battles 2. Unlike its BTD6 counterpart, it gives +3 pierce instead of +4, increasing pierce from 4 to 7. For Kylie Boomerang, gives +10 pierce. MOAB Press special kylies get +100, increasing to 300.

It costs $200.

Some extra pierce to handle early grouped bloons better, specifically Grouped Reds and beyond.

Be sure to make use of the extra pierce to pop more bloons per shot.
