Hedge is a Beginner Map in Bloons TD 6. It was one of 9 Beginner Maps to be introduced on initial release, and was one of the 21 original maps introduced on initial release.

Overview[]

A grassy garden map. The Bloons travel along the paved portion of the track, starting from the left and weaving from hedge to hedge until they exit from the right side. The hedges serve as indestructible objects that will block line of sight for most monkeys. The statue of a Dart Monkey in the center will rotate 90 degrees when tapped.

The left and right hedges each have a gap in the middle, which can be shot through.

Trivia[]

  • Due to numerous 3D objects and the track's path, this could compete with Town Center and Lotus Island as the hardest beginner maps in the game.
  • This map is one of three maps featured on the first user interface teasers for BTD6, the others being Streambed and Spice Islands.
  • Because Cubism had its music changed as of Version 17.1, Hedge is the only Beginner Map to play Tropical Carnival by default.
  • This map was used for the Obyn's Gardening School quest. What's interesting about it was Obyn's placement: between two of the hedges. This was, in no other circumstances, possible to place him, other Heroes or any tower that wasn't small-sized, meaning that was likely made an exception for the purpose of showcasing Obyn's ability to attack through line-of-sight blockers.
