Heavy Bombs is the 2nd upgrade of Path 1 the Bomb Shooter in Bloons TD Battles 2. Each explosion deals +1 damage, including for any crosspath upgrades. On top of this, primary explosions gain +10 pierce, for up to 30 bloons per shot instead of 20 from Bigger Bombs. Secondary explosions (from Cluster Bombs and above) gain +6 pierce (total of 20 pierce) and +1 damage, while tertiary explosions (from Recursive Cluster and above) gain +48 pierce (total of 120 pierce) and +1 damage.

It costs $650, and is unlocked by default.

Summary[]

Heavy Bombs deals much more damage and reliably demolishes early rushes. It is decent for a lower-tier Bomb, particularly in lower arenas, but expensive compared to other early-game options. However, Hebay Bombs is most significant for Cluster Bombs, which benefits the most from that upgrade.
