Descendants of blimps are affected by an active Sabo ability and its slowdown effect wears out if the Ninja is sold. Provided that the Grand Saboteur is on screen and its ability still runs, the instant health reduction to blimps affects both blimps spawned from the entrance and from blimp descendants, but not blimps that are already on screen. Additionally, all blimp descendents slow down during this ability, as if it were a Sabotage Supply Lines from BTDB Mobile. Also, Grand Saboteur ability does not buff Shinobis, which it does in BTD6.
The upgrade costs $25,000, and is unlocked with the other Ninja Monkey tier 5 upgrades for 1500.
Grand Saboteur is a solid option for decreasing the power of an all-out rush, particularly against incoming BADs. It is best paired with an already solid defense, as the Grand Saboteur must be on screen to actually make use of its effects.
Tips[]
Grand Sabo's Bloon Sabotage slowdown can be a useful tool if struggling against large rushes, as it can give your towers more time to attack and slow blimps.
Crosspathing doesn't matter, as the main power of Grand Saboteur is its ability. However, 1-5-0 maximizes the range of its Shinobi Tacticsbuff.
Note that a pure 0-5-0 Grand Saboteur does cost more than its BTD6 counterpart, which means a greater prior investment must be done.
