Gold Coin is a power in Bloons Adventure Time TD. It is a Rare power, costing 
300 each. When used, it adds $1000, plus $5 per rank, to the player's cash balance instantly, similar to Cash Drop. It has a 5 minute cooldown after use.

The Gold Coin provides instant income with every use. Due to the fixed amount of in-game cash it gives, it is generally used for establishing income generators like BMO and COBRA during the early-game, as having more early extrapolative income translates to more generated cash in the long run. The Gold Coin can be used repeatedly instead of ASMoL's one-time use per game, although using Ancient Sleeping Magi of Lifegiving gives 10x more coins for only 1.66x the price and revives you.
Tips[]
- Use the Gold Coin to build income sources and defenses to counter early bloon waves, especially if they use certain bloon modifiers.
- Only use Gold Coin if you want an early income boost. It is not recomended to use it in the early mid-game and beyond since that will require lots of coins.
- For this purpose, use the Golden Crown instead to boost income generation, as income takes much less time to generate the same or higher amount of cash than that of a single Gold Coin.
