Enough XP to unlock Glue Hose
Glue Strike is the 4th upgrade on Path 2 of the Glue Gunner in Bloons TD Battles 2. A little more expensive in upgrade price alone, it takes the sticky debuffing ability as a new addition, just like its BTD6 counterpart. However, it is more like the BTD6 pre-39.0 counterpart in that crosspaths still matter for the ability to target blimps, and the glue-soaking is greater. Also, the ability has no initial cooldown.
It unlocks the Glue Strike Ability, which when activated causes glue to rain down all over the screen, gluing all non-MOAB-class bloons on screen for a short time, and causing all affected bloons on screen to take in +2 damage, and render Leads vulnerable to any damage type. This ability sticky glue soaks up to 6 layers (all layers with Glue Soak). Adding Corrosive Glue allows the main attack and ability to stick to and attack MOAB-class bloons too. If crosspathed with Corrosive Glue, ability glue applies a damage-over-time that deals 3 damage per 2s. Cooldown for the ability is 30 seconds.
It costs $4,000, and is unlocked with the purchase of Glue Gunner.

An ability that greatly weakens affected bloons, Glue Strike greatly cripples bloons and lets blimps become more vulnerable to extra damage.
Tips[]
- 2-4-0 is almost always better than 0-4-2, as the bigger problem is MOAB-class and 2-4-0 Strike's corrosion also is affected by the +2 damage. 0-4-2 is superior at slowdown, and works better for Super Ceramics, but is impractical in competitive gameplay.
