The Glue Gunner is a glue-shooting monkey in Bloons TD Battles 2, shooting glue that slows down bloons. Most Glue Gunners cannot directly damage bloons, and many require Corrosive Glue to deal damage to bloons. Glue Gunners form a primarily supporting role in the defense, slowing bloons down, crippling the bloons with extra damage, and clearing out big clumps of bloons.
The aim of this article is a general guide for using the Glue Gunner. It summarizes how to effectively use Glue Gunner without going into too much intricate detail about meta strategy.
Base Tower[]
The base Glue Gunner shoots glue that slow down bloons. It has low pierce but alright attack speed. Alone, a base Glue Gunner is useless, but it does help stall a small amount of bloons, such as naturally occurring bloons and spaced sent bloons.

Glue Soak[]

Glue Soak soaks all layers of non-blimp bloon. It can be helpful for slowing down many layers of bloon at once.
Corrosive Glue[]
- Cost: $300
- Path: 1
- Tier: 2
- Unlock: Default
Corrosive Glue slowly damages bloons every 2 seconds after getting glued. It deals some damage as the bloon is glued, and also pops Leads and Frozen. It can also target MOAB-class bloons, although it will deal negligible damage to them.
Bloon Dissolver[]
- Cost: $2,300
- Path: 1
- Tier: 3

Bloon Dissolver dissolves bloons much faster, every 0.575s, and deals extra damage to Ceramics and MOAB-class. Its main use is to destroy stronger types of bloons and counter Regrow properties before they quickly multiply out of control.
Bloon Liquefier[]
- Cost: $4,500
- Path: 1
- Tier: 4

Bloon Liquefier further increase the strength of its glue to dissolve bloons even faster, and glues even more bloons.
The Bloon Solver[]
The Bloon Solver shoots glue very quickly and deals a lot of damage to Ceramics and MOAB-class. It can be used to clear out an all-out rush after beating much of the stronger layers.
Bigger Globs[]

Bigger Globs lets the glue hit an extra bloon. A cheap and effective way to increase the capability to glue multiple bloons per shot.
Glue Splatter[]
- Cost: $700

Glue Splatter converts the glue from a basic piercing projectile to a splatter attack that affects many more bloons in a splash radius. It glues up to 6 bloons at a time, ideal for hitting a large group of bloons at once.
Glue Hose[]

Glue Hose shoots glue 3x faster, making it an excellent option for slowing an incoming rush of bloons.
Glue Strike[]
- Cost: $4,000

Glue Strike grants an ability that splashes glue across the entire screen, causing all bloons to slow down, and temporarily take +2 extra damage and lose Lead properties for the duration. It also affects MOAB-class if crosspathed with 2-4-0, making Glue Strike a great option for boosting damage of towers versus stronger blimps.
Glue Storm[]
Glue Storm changes the ability to perpetually rain down storms of glue every few seconds for a very long time, and glue lasts much longer.
Stickier Glue[]
- Cost: $120

Stickier Glue makes the glue last much longer. If the glue will remain on the bloon for a long time, the benefits of Stickier Glue become prominent.
Stronger Glue[]
- Cost: $400
- Path: 3
- Tier: 2

Stronger Glue makes glue slow bloons further, reducing the progress of bloons.
MOAB Glue[]
- Cost: $3,200
- Path: 3
- Tier: 3
- Unlock: Default
MOAB Glue slows down MOAB-class bloons for only half the amount at half duration. A cheap upgrade that stalls the blimps, giving more time for defenses to keep hitting MOAB-class bloons.
Relentless Glue[]
- Cost: $2,400
- Path: 3
- Tier: 4
- Unlock: Default
Relentless Glue detects camo and drops blobs of glue from popped bloons. No longer needs external camo countermeasures to affect DDTs, and does a niche extra gluing benefit, provided the glued bloons are popped regularly.
Super Glue[]
Super Glue causes all affected MOAB-class bloons to become stuck, or at the very least become significantly slower than normal. It is most effective against DDTs, given the fast speed of them and their complete immobility once hit by the Super Glue.
