~ Tutorial Monkey if the player loses the tutorial in Bloons TD 6 |
Game Over (also called Try Again!, You crashed! in Hot Air Bloon, Oh No! in Hot Air Bloon iOS's Story, Odyssey Over! in BTD5 Mobile during Odysseys, Defeat(!) in most games starting with BTD Battles, Level Failed! in BSM2 Mobile, or Out of Shots!/Bloons Escaped! in Bloons Pop!), is a state in a game where the game is lost, usually happens when the player fails to meet a certain objective as required by the level, mission, or match, or for games with endless progression such as Freeplay Mode, when the player exhausts all lives and is no longer in play. It has occurred in all games in the Bloons and Bloons TD series thus far.
Sounds[]
Not enough sounds! There are not enough sounds on this page to sufficiently complete this page or section. You can help by expanding it by uploading some sounds related to the article's subject(s). (Due to technical limitations, the wiki only accepts .ogg, .wav, .mp3, or .mp4) In particular, this article needs: BTD5, BMC Flash, BSM2M, BTD6, BATTD, BP, BTDB2. |
One or more sounds may be low quality! Please replace the sound(s) in question with better quality version(s) so that they meet Bloons Wiki's standards. Sounds(s) to replace: BTDB2 Game Over, which uses in-game footage with a bad grainy beginning at a few milliseconds (yes, sound quality is that sensitive); we need someone like Scrooge200 to get the good quality raw sounds |
There are no game over sounds for pre-BTD5 games, BTDB Flash, BTDB2 Mobile, or BMC Mobile. However, the soundfile for BMC Mobile has a game over sound in the game files.
When the player loses in BTD5 Flash or BTD5 Mobile (or its variants):
- [deflation-like pan flute slide]
When the player loses in BMC Flash:
- [angry brass and timpani: C4-F#3]
When the player fails a level in BSM2 Mobile:
- [electric guitar "womp" x4]
- ["Ahhh!" *fluttering sound, then falling*] (when exiting the failed level)
When the player loses in BTD6:
- [downtune fanfare]
When the player loses in BATTD (one of the three quotes will play along with the defeat sound):
- [downtune fanfare]
- "Aw man... We got donked!"
- "Aw, nuts!"
- "Well, I never saw this coming. We'll be back!"
When the player loses in Bloons Pop!:
- [downtune xylophone]
When the player loses in Bloons TD Battles 2:
- [depressing violin, sad harp, and ominous trombones]
