Full Metal Jacket is the first upgrade of Path 1 for the Sniper Monkey in Bloons TD Battles 2. It allows the Sniper to pop Lead and Frozen Bloons, and deals 4 damage to bloons per shot instead of 2, enough to pop an entire Yellow Bloon and inflict high damage to bloons up to the Rainbow Bloon layer. When crosspathed with Shrapnel Shot, all shrapnel pieces deal 2 damage each and can also pop Frozen and Lead. One minor crosspathing interaction with Elite Defender also increases its MOAB-class damage bonus from +2 to +3, for 7 damage to MOAB-class.
It costs $200.

“ | Sniper Monkey also lacks early game efficiency, being most used for its tier 3/4/5 upgrades way past the early game. Additionally, Sniper hasn’t been particularly prevalent in highest arenas recently, so we have made quite a few price cuts to the early upgrades to encourage Sniper to be used more and to potentially provide some more use cases for it in the early game. | ” |
