Forgotten Garden (BTD5)

Forgotten Garden is an Intermediate track introduced in Update 3.24. It was released on March 12, 2020 for BTD5 Mobile and BTD5 Steam.

Overview[]

The track resembles a garden, divided into greenhouse sections and open, grassy, sections. The Bloons enter from the entrance of the large greenhouse in the middle at the bottom. After they leave the greenhouse, they travel along the grassy paths, passing over the bridge in the middle. The Bloons exit after going through the damaged greenhouse on the far right. On the right there is a pool that the player can place water towers in.

The track features a tunnel mechanic that is shared by other maps such as Monkey Lane and Tubular before the introduction of Line of Sight in Bloons TD 6. Bloons inside the non-broken greenhouse cannot be seen by any tower, even if the range appears to touch inside of the greenhouse. Also, when bloons are sent backwards towards the greenhouse and fall into the range of attacking towers , that tower won't pop the misdirected bloons. This mostly happens on the left side of the map. MOAB-Class Bloons are too big to fit in the greenhouse and will float above, allowing any towers to attack them. The Bloons that come out of MOAB-class Bloons will fall into the greenhouse and be blocked from targeting, however. Road Spikes and Exploding Pineapples can also not be placed in the greenhouse. Only a couple abilities can affect Bloons inside of the greenhouse, such as Glue Striker and Absolute Zero.

Forgotten Garden's terrain is similar to BMC Flash's Grass Terrain and Heavy Forest Terrain on different areas of the map.
