Smart is a Targeting Priority that was first introduced in Bloons TD 6. It is a target priority that is currently exclusive to the Spike Factory, obtained by upgrading a Spike Factory to Smart Spikes. Smart causes the affected tower to throw on-track projectiles as closest to any lane exit(s). Prior to Version 24.0, on-track projectiles with Smart targeting would be placed as closest to any lane entry(s) if there are no bloons within range, or laying them towards the back if there are bloons within range. In addition if that is in multi track map, it only target bloons active path.
There are currently no instances of other towers using the Smart target priority.
