Bloons Wiki

The greatest thing ever to float on water.
~ In-game Upgrade Description

The Navarch of the Seas is the Paragon of the Monkey Buccaneer, added to Bloons TD 6 in the 29.0 update. Combining major features from the Carrier Flagship, Pirate Lord, and Trade Empire, the Navarch of the Seas is armed with 6 independently-aiming triple-turrets, each of which fires 3 explosive rounds and 10 arrowhead-shaped grapes per shot. On the deck of the vessel, kinetic grappling hooks automatically take down MOAB-class bloons of ZOMG strength and below every 0.6s. These shoot 10 times before entering a 10 second cooldown period (a ZOMG uses 2 hooks). The ship's runway launches 3 high-tech fighter jets which rapidly fire darts, as well as 4 seeking missiles every 10 shots. For its activated ability, the Navarch of the Seas shoots a grappling hook which takes down the strongest MOAB-Class Bloon on screen, including BADs. The ability can be used twice per round (more with selling and rebuying) and does not affect Boss Bloons. This extends to Rock Bloons for both passive and active hooks, despite Pirate Lord being able to hook in Rock Bloons. All of these attacks are affected by Monkey Knowledge (except Big Bunch) and deal heavy damage to all bloon types, including camo, with bonus damage to MOAB-Class Bloons and Boss Bloons.

The Navarch of the Seas also comes with non-offensive utilities, including a $3200 end-of-round bonus ($3220 with Trade Empire Monkey Knowledge), the bonus sellback on nearby towers from Favored Trades, and two landing pads which are each able to accomodate one medium-sized tower. The vessel also provides the buffs supplied by the Trade Empire and Carrier Flagship to all applicable towers. The Trade Empire buff stacks with the Trade Empire tower and gives a stronger damage bonus, and the Carrier Flagship buff is uniquely capable of buffing the Goliath Doomship and Nautic Siege Core.

The Navarch of the Seas is obtained by having one of each tier 5 Monkey Buccaneer and purchasing the Paragon upgrade, which subsequently consumes all Monkey Buccaneers on screen. The Degree of the Navarch of the Seas ranges from 1-100 and is determined by total cost, pop count, bonus income, upgrades, and number of Monkey Buccaneers sacrificed as explained here. As with all Paragons, the Navarch of the Seas cannot receive buffs from any external sources except the Nautic Siege Core's Energizer buff and the "Paragon of Power" Monkey Knowledge (and from the bloon debuffing status effects of Cripple MOAB, Glue Storm, and Super Brittle). Additionally, the Navarch of the Seas is unobtainable in Sandbox Mode until it is purchased in a real game, but can be created in Challenge Editor.

Upgrading to this Paragon costs $467,500 on Easy, $550,000 on Medium, $594,000 on Hard, and $660,000 on Impoppable. To max out on manual cash sacrifices starting from v39.0, the player must spend at least $1,402,500 on Easy, $1,650,000 on Medium, $1,782,000 on Hard, and $1,980,000 on Impoppable; before v39.0, the max cash sacrifices was $250,000. With max slider, these costs increase to $1,472,625 on Easy, $1,732,500 on Medium, $1,871,100 on Hard, and $2,079,000 on Impoppable.

Description[]

Overview[]

NavarchOfTheSeasSizeComparison

Navarch of the Seas pictured next to all three tier-5 Monkey Buccaneers

The Navarch of the Seas is an opulent, fervently-animated pirate in command of a futuristic aircraft carrier and fighter jet arsenal. The commander itself dons a spiky gray beard, gold tooth, eyepatch, pegged cane, white military admiral's uniform, and orange sailor's jacket with gold shoulder trimmings and cap with a skull symbol. The portrait shows the Navarch wearing black pants, but the placed tower does not show him wearing any shoes.

The ship is a technologically advanced aircraft carrier accented in orange and white, featuring a large central runway and two "M" monkey helipad platforms illuminated in green. Beneath the bridge is the launch platform, which is shaped like a cat's face. The eyes are two teal windows that light up when the Navarch is not firing grappling hooks. On the deck of the ship are 6 ports for MOAB takedowns, which launch teal, energized grappling ropes with a mechanical claw attached. This claw is displayed in both the upgrade icon and ability icon. At the base of each grappling hook are two superimposed triangles which rotate in opposite directions. These harpoon features become red during the activated ability. Whenever the Navarch takes down a blimp, a plume of green smoke in the shape of a skull ascends when the takedown is complete. Mounted on the bottom of the ship are 6 triple turrets (3 on each side) that fire arrowhead-shaped grape shots and orange explosive canisters which leave behind glowing teal and airbust-dart style streaks respectively.

The jets are two-pronged, futuristic aircraft that have orange and teal accents. The main cockpit resembles a single large green crystal. The jets' dart and missile projectiles are identical to those used by the Aircraft Carrier, Carrier Flagship, and Monkey Ace seeking missiles.

The Navarch itself has comparatively few animations. The captain's jacket will constantly billow in the wind and the captain will occassionally look to either side, grovel its fist, or tap its cane on the ground.

Every 20 degrees, the Navarch of the Seas gains a more geometrically sharp appearance, with additional armor plating and more glowing lights being added to the ship and the coat, hat and eyepatch of the captain becoming more elaborate. The planes and projectiles do not change with degree.

Compared to other Paragons, the Navarch of the Seas's design and function incorporates a very wide and disjoint set of constituent tier-5 themes (military, pirates, and global trade). The military theme dominates the overall look of the ship, with the main ship, guns, and jets deriving from the Carrier Flagship. The captain's appearance and the ship's grappling hooks are directly influenced by the Pirate Lord. However, the Trade Empire has little visual presence in the Navarch of the Seas, aside from the end-of round-bonus and orange accents. Here, the word "Navarch" is derived from the Greek word for "Leader of the Seas."

Activated Abilities[]

See also: Activated Abilities (BTD6)#Navarch of the Seas

Alongside a passive ability to quickly hook in multiple MOAB-class bloons below BAD at regular intervals, which is merely an automatic attack instead of a true activated ability, Navarch of the Seas gains a new activated ability that hooks in a single MOAB-class bloon including a BAD. MOAB-class bloons destroyed by the Navarch's special hook do not generate extra cash. However, a single Navarch can only use this activated ability up to twice per round. This activated ability has a cooldown of 30 seconds and has a full initial cooldown, minus the transformation animation after purchasing the Navarch.

Targeting Priorities[]

Navarch of the Seas targets bloons using the standard targeting priorities. It has multiple types of attacks that are shot in different styles.

  • First: Targets the first bloon visible within its range.
  • Last: Targets the last bloon visible within its range.
  • Close: Targets the closest bloon visible within its range.
  • Strong: Targets the strongest bloon visible within its range.

Navarch of the Seas has multiple types of attacks that interact with Targeting Priorities in various ways, which cannot simply be explained in a single paragraph:

  • Navarch of the Seas has 6 separate independently targeting multi-barreled turrets that each shoot both canisters and grapeshots. Each grapeshot and canister is shot in a straight movement. Each multi-barreled turret can only rotate up to 90 degrees either side from where it is placed and was initially pointing. Its rotational range depends on where each of the multi-barreled turrets were initially placed and pointing on the Navarch ship when first bought.
  • Navarch Planes fly towards nearby bloons in a flight pattern that tends to follow them down the track.
  • Darts from Navarch Planes are shot in a straight movement with no homing, and use targeting priority based on the Navarch of the Seas.
  • Anti-MOAB missiles from Navarch Planes are shot in a straight movement, weakly seek, only targets MOAB-class bloons, and is locked on Strong.
  • All hooks including those from the passive and activated abilities are locked on Strong and only target MOAB-class bloons. All hooks can target blimps below BAD, but only the activated ability hooks can target BADs. None of them can target Boss Bloons.
  • Navarch's end-of-round cash is spawned cash gain, and has no interaction with targeting priorities.
  • Navarch's buffs affect the whole screen, and buff the respective towers that it benefits. The Carrier buff affects all water monkeys and Monkey Aces but does not stack with Carrier Flagship's buff. The Trade Strength buff works just like duplicate but much stronger second Trade Empire buff, affecting Tier 3-5 Bottom Path Buccaneers.

Despite being able to detect Camo Bloons naturally, Navarch of the Seas does not have the Camo Prioritization targeting priority.

Monkey Knowledge Interactions[]

The following Monkey Knowledge Points directly affect the Navarch of the Seas:

  • NavalUpgradesIcon Naval Upgrades: All Monkey Buccaneers get +1 pierce.
  • BigBunchIcon Big Bunch: An extra grape shot from 10 to 11? (It doesn't increase any extra grapes)

The following Monkey Knowledge Points do affect Navarch of the Seas, but only indirectly:

  • EliteMilitaryTrainingIcon Elite Military Training: All Military Monkeys get a one-off +1000 XP and earn XP in-game 5% faster permanently.
  • MilitaryConscriptionIcon Military Conscription: First military tower costs only ⅔ of the original cost. [note: this is a small benefit for Navarch of the Seas]
    • Monkey Buccaneer base cost from $425, $500, $540, and $600 → $285, $335, $360, and $400 on Easy, Medium, Hard, and Impoppable, respectively.
  • AdvancedLogisticsIcon Advanced Logistics: All Military Monkeys base costs reduced by 5%. [note: this is a small benefit for Navarch of the Seas]
    • Monkey Buccaneer base cost reduced from $425, $500, $540, and $600 → $405, $475, $515, and $570 on Easy, Medium, Hard, and Impoppable, respectively.
      • If Military Conscription is also enabled, the base cost will be $265, $310, $335, and $370.
  • MonkeyEducationIcon Monkey Education: All Monkeys XP earn rate increased by 8%.

Creation[]

The Navarch of the Seas can be created by having one of each Tier 5 Monkey Buccaneer on screen, at which point, the upgrade icon for the Navarch of the Seas will become available on any of the Tier 5 Monkey Buccaneers. Purchasing the upgrade will change the selected Monkey Buccaneer into the Navarch of the Seas, while sacrificing every other Monkey Buccaneer on screen (including those belonging to co-op players). Only one Navarch of the Seas may exist at a time, even in co-op.

Paragon Power[]

The degree of the Navarch of the Seas depends on a hidden value known as "power", which itself depends on the amount of tier 5 upgrades, non-tier 5 upgrades, cash, and pops of sacrificed Monkey Buccaneers, as well as any Paragon Power Totems on the map. In addition to cosmetic changes every 20 degrees, a higher degree will elevate the damage output of the Navarch of the Seas. Power is calculated as follows:

  • Each Tier 5 Monkey Buccaneer will contribute 6,000 power for a maximum of 50,000 power (9 Tier 5 upgrades). Excludes the first three Tier 5 Monkey Buccaneers.
  • Each non-Tier 5 Monkey Buccaneer upgrade will contribute 100 power for a maximum of 10,000 power (100 non-Tier 5 upgrades). Excludes the first three Tier 5 Monkey Buccaneers.
  • Every $23.375 / $27.5 / $29.7 / $33 spent on sacrificed Monkey Buccaneers will contribute 1 power for a maximum of 60,000 power ($1,402,500 / $1,650,000 / $1,782,000 / $1,980,000 spent). Excludes the three cheapest Tier 5 Monkey Buccaneers.
    • Alternatively, cash can be injected into the Paragon directly with 5% reduced efficiency.
  • Every 180 pops or 45 generated cash achieved by sacrificed Monkey Buccaneers will contribute 1 power for a maximum of 90,000 power (16,200,000 pops or $4,050,000 generated). [1] Includes the first three Tier 5 Monkey Buccaneers.
    • Round 132 is the first round where the game's cumulative RBE exceeds this threshold. Waiting until round 136 before upgrading to Navarch of the Seas should provide enough buffer to achieve the 16,200,000 pops, assuming Monkey Buccaneers are responsible for 80% of all pops until that point. These rounds will be earlier on Double HP MOABs or Boss Events due to the increased RBE from Boss Bloons and MOABs, so it is always best to confirm by calculating manually.
  • Each Paragon Power Totem contributes an additional 2,000 power, with no limit.

Assuming no Paragon Power Totems, a maximum of 160,000 power is obtainable in single-player, and 210,000 power is achievable in co-op, though only up to 200,000 power is actually used.

Degree roughly scales with the natural logarithm of power, so there is no unique set of upgrades, prices, etc. that will place the Paragon at a certain degree. In addition, the attack speed, pierce, damage, specialized damage, and boss damage each scale differently with the degree.

Statistics[]

The approximate power requirements for the 20 degree increments are listed, alongside the associated damage statistics and some general guidelines on which sacrificial investments to make.

Key for labels

Behavior and Interactions[]

Like other Paragons, the Navarch of the Seas will ignore most tower interactions, such as buffs, discounts, and redeployment as detailed here. However, there are a few noteworthy points of the tower's behavior to consider:

Costs[]

Like all Paragons, which are able to sacrifice other towers, Navarch of the Seas has a complex set of costs.

Data updated as of Version 35.0.

Quick Reference Costs[]

Assumes normal undiscounted costs of each tower.

Quick reference costs of some popular variants of Navarch of the Seas:

Easy Medium Hard Impoppable
Vanilla $TBA $651,780 $TBA $TBA
Vanilla + 25 2-0-2 $TBA $701,280 $TBA $TBA
Vanilla + 20x 4-2-0 $TBA $903,780 $TBA $TBA
Vanilla + 20x 0-0-4 + 4x 4-2-0 + 1x 0-1-0 $TBA $901,830 $TBA $TBA

Combos written for the above table:

  • Vanilla Navarch of the Seas: The cheapest Navarch of the Seas at raw cost, using only 5-0-0, 0-5-0, and 0-0-5.
  • Vanilla Navarch of the Seas + 25x 2-0-2 (exactly 100 upgrades): Uses vanilla costs plus coverage of the 100 upgrades worth of sacrifices. Uses the cheapest upgrades for the Monkey Buccaneer, the 2-0-2 Boat with Double Shot and Crow's Nest. This results in a Degree 21 Paragon (degree 20 on Easy).
  • Vanilla Navarch of the Seas + 20x 4-2-0 (just over $250k sacrifices): Uses vanilla costs plus coverage of the $250k worth of sacrifices. Uses only the most expensive Buccaneer option, the 4-2-0 Aircraft Carrier
  • Vanilla Navarch of the Seas + 20x 0-2-4 + 4x 4-2-0 + 1x 0-1-0 (just over $250k sacrifices): Uses vanilla costs plus coverage of the $250k worth of sacrifices. Uses 20 0-0-4 Favored Trades with the remainder on 4-2-0 Aircraft Carriers and a Grape Shot boat to top off the remaining $1,000 in Normal difficulty.

Arbitrary definitions for convenience in this table:

  • Vanilla: Only a single 5-0-0, 0-5-0, and 0-0-5.

Cost Formula[]

Lists all three unique Tier 5 upgrades without crosspathing, as well as all possible Tier 4 upgrades without crosspathing, and all T1-T2 upgrades collected together for each path. Use the table below to start evaluating into the equation further down. The costs for each entity are listed with their prices on all four game modes (Easy, Medium, Hard, Impoppable), along with a rate of max sacrifices on Medium as "$250k/Cost (Medium)" for whole T4 towers only. T5's only contribute to the power requirements for the T5 towers regardless of how many T5 towers are on screen.

Whole Tower Purchase Easy Medium Hard Impoppable
5-0-0 Total ~$31,067 $36,550 ~$39,474 $43,860
0-5-0 Total $28,345 $33,350 $36,015 $40,020

Where T(x,y,z) and C(x, y, z) are functions with three parameters corresponding to tier numbers, S1 and similar are the number of Tier 4 upgrades of each path, and L1 and similar are the sums of Tier 2 crosspaths from each of the Tier 4 upgrades:

T(5,0,0) + T(0,5,0) + T(0,0,5) + S1 * T(4,0,0) + S2 * T(0,4,0) + S3 * T(0,0,4) + L1 * C(2,0,0) + L2 * C(0,2,0) + L3 * C(0,0,2)

Substitute each of these functions with the respective tower costs (e.g. Carrier Flagship → T(5,0,0) → $36,550 if Medium prices are used). Use Wolfram Alpha or similar to plonk in specific combinations.

Summary[]

The Navarch of the Seas combines elements from the Carrier Flagship, Pirate Lord, and Trade Empire to unleash a wide arsenal of turrets, fighter jets, explosives, and income bonuses. However, its most important weapons are the harpoon attacks and ability which can deal percentage based damage to Blimps regardless of health. As a result, the main utility of this Paragon is providing high levels of damage to MOABs and Boss Bloons. Its main weakness is its enormous cost and tedious setup process, especially due to limited availability of water for Buccaneer placement. As such, the main use case for the Navarch of the Seas is Boss Bloon and most Late Game defenses.

During Boss Fights obtain as high a degree Navarch of the Seas as possible. Every $1 generated counts for 4 pops, allowing the pop threshold to be more easily achieved through boat farming. Navarch is good on maps with lots of water, but still falls short to other powerful paragons, notably the Goliath Doomship. Even though its Carrier Flagship buff buffs the Doomship's attack speed, this does not affect the Ace's ability whatsoever.

For both general late game and Boss Fight usage, place the Navarch of the Seas in water that allows as many of its six turrets to fire on Bloons for as long a duration possible. These turrets will provide the bulk of the tower's ranged damage. However, the Harpoon passive and activated abilities will be the most useful as they will greatly accelerate the destruction of high-health ZOMGs and BADs.

Tips[]

  • Out of all the Paragons, the Navarch of the Seas excels the best at late freeplay, as its ability to instantly destroy BADs greatly increases in value with freeplay ramping.
  • For Ranked Boss Bloon Events, the Navarch tends to fall behind the Goliath Doomship and Master Builder, as their Carpet Bomb ability and Mega Sentry Explosions provide extremely valuable burst damage. As most of Navarch's damage comes from its close-range turrets, the exception is on maps with lots of water, with enough water near the entrance to fit one boat for the navarch.
  • Since the Navarch's instakilling abilities counts toward Hook, Line, and Sinker, the achievement can be completed relatively hassle free in Freeplay.
  • Energizer does not affect the cooldown for Navarch's activated ability.
  • Assuming there is enough water space, the 2-0-2 Boat with Double Shot and Crow's Nest can be used to fulfill the 100 upgrade tiers requirement and $25,800 cash for a cheap degree 20 in boss events, if water space is plentiful and cash is tight. This will actually be a Degree 21, or Degree 22 on Impoppable.
  • 4-2-0 Aircraft Carrier is the most expensive non-Tier 5 Buccaneer able to be sacrificed. However, mixing them and 0-2-4 Favored Trades is generally better for building up a solid income first, unless there is limited water space.
    • On water-heavy maps like Spice Islands, it is better to have the Trade Empire with 20 Favored Trades first. The income that Bottom Path boats provide also count towards pops across all Buccaneers.
  • If there is enough water on the map to fit about 8 total boats, it is possible to gather enough pops for a Degree 20 by t4 with a few Favored Trades for income and upgrade tiers, and a heavily buffed Pirate Lord and Carrier Flagship to pop Rounds 81-99 by themselves. This is only recommended on weeks with heavy paragon restrictions and no Geraldo.
  • If Powers are enabled, Portable Lakes add more space for additional Buccaneers, or simply to enable the option to get a Navarch of the Seas; even a Degree 1 is possible within the space of one Portable Lake.
  • Since the Navarch of the Seas already has a Carrier Flagship buff that doesn't stack with the Tier 5 Carrier Flagship, there is no need to add Carrier Flagship in Freeplay runs, outside of the extra two water platforms. This makes Navarch of the Seas efficient in terms of reducing some lag.
    • The Navarch is able to buff the Goliath Doomship with the Carrier Flagship buff. This buff will not affect the carpet bomb which provides a large portion of the Doomship's damage, so it is only recommended to buy the Navarch if it is possible to acquire a good degree for it through Favored Trades farming.
  • Buying a low degree Navarch, then rebuying a Favored Trades army, can be a solid income strategy and way to build to a higher degree Navarch, especially if the amount of farming possible is restricted. The downside of this is that the Navarch's passive hooks steal a large amount of pops that other towers could use for their paragon.
  • Unlike Pirate Lord and Monkey Pirates, the Navarch cannot hook in rock bloons with either its ability or passive hooks.
  • To minimize micro for freeplay mode, utilize a Tech Bot with the Ambush Tech MK on the Navarch. Combine this with towers that stall or eliminate ZOMG and below bloons towards the first half of the map such as Master Builder's MOAB stun or Bloon Master Alchemist. This will help ensure that the Navarch's ability will maximize the amount of BADs instakilled.
  • To get the $1,650,000 on Medium valuation of manual sacrifices for Navarch of the Seas, one must spend roughly 133.06 worth of 4-2-0 Aircraft Carriers. Getting this many Buccaneers is impossible outside of extremely water-heavy maps like Spice Islands, and even then it requires occupying excessive amounts of the entire available water, so just place as many as humanly possible and spend the rest on the cash slider.

Version History[]

Balance Changes[]

Navarch of the Seas has always been a dominating Paragon at gathering significant amounts of damage in Freeplay and Boss Events for a rather low cost and high synergization potential. Its power has been toned down slightly over many updates, but also gained the first Paragon external buffing interaction in the form of its Carrier Flagship buff affecting the Goliath Doomship. v39.0 Only minorly nerfed the paragon to keep it at its current power level after the major changes the update brought.

29.0
  • The Navarch of the Seas was added.
30.0
Some parts of the new Buccaneer paragon were balanced more around a Degree 100 level without properly scaling, so we have fixed up some of this to better fit scaling up to 100 reaching those values, and moved the ability for it and any possible future paragons to also scale in cooldown based on the Degree.

  • BUFF Navarch activated ability cooldown will now increase rate in a similar formula to attack speed
  • NERF Navarch passive grapple hook rate: 0.02s → 0.06s
  • NERF Navarch active grapple hook cooldown: 20s → 30s

  • NERF Navarch of the Seas price increased from $500,000 → $550,000
33.0
  • NERF Navarch of the Seas' Big Hook ability no longer is affected by Rejuv Potion.

Wasn’t too impacted by the bug fix while standing out as quite powerful for a mid-range cost in general, so just nerfed a little to keep it around where it is after the buffs it is gaining this update from knowledge & the boss bonus multiplier going up.

  • ??? [buff/nerf indeterminate] Navarch of the Seas's overall Boss damage undetermined
  • NERF Navarch of the Seas turrets base attack cooldown delay increased (0.2145s → 0.25s)

Bug Fixes and General Changes[]

41.0
  • BUFF Flanking Maneuvers knowledge now works for the Paragon

Bugs[]

Current
  • [29.0] The positions of the support platforms are rotated based on the rotation of the Buccaneer being upgraded to the Navarch.
  • [41.0] The damage type for the main attack of the paragon has unintentionally been changed from Normal to Sharp. This is in relation to a recent balance change to Carrier Flagship that converted the damage type of its darts from Normal to Sharp.
Patched
  • [29.0] Re-entering a game with towers placed onto the Navarch's pads will freeze the supported towers, making them unable to attack, but still use their idle animation. Fixed in 29.1.
  • [29.0] After creating a paragon, and then undoing it (by going back to the main screen before the end of the round), the Navarch of the Seas will place a non-paragon tower beside it. Fixed in 29.1.
  • [29.0] If there is already a tower placed on the left pad by itself, then going back to the main menu screen and back again, it will move to the right pad. Fixed in 29.1.
  • [29.0] Navarch of the Seas' mini-planes are affected by Homeland Defense. It is likely because they are coded the same way as normal Carrier Flagship Planes. This can be indicated by the amount of explosions caused by the MOAB Missiles. Fixed in 29.1.
  • [29.0] Attempting to sacrifice a buccaneer on a Portable Lake will crash the game instead. Discovered on 29.0, patched in 29.2.
  • [29.0] Navarch hooks would create invulnerable targets in Apopalypse and Boss Bloon Events. Patched in 29.3.
  • [31.2] There was a bug in Version 31.2 that allowed multiple Paragons of the same type, by using specific interactions. This allowed for multiple Navarchs of the Seas in a game, which can also stack their own income benefits with each other. While this bug is no longer exploitable as of Version 32.0, any game saves that used this bug will still keep the multiple Navarchs of the Sea, allowing for extreme records in Freeplay max rounds.
  • [33.0] Navarch gave xx4 buccaneers a "small income buff." Resolved in 33.1.

BuccParagonTeaser

The Monkey Buccaneer Paragon (Navarch of the Seas), as teased on Social Media.

On 4th December 2021, Ninja Kiwi teased the Monkey Buccaneer Paragon on their Twitter. The Monkey Buccaneer Paragon was later released in the 29.0 update, and later revealed to be the Navarch of the Seas. It has been teased with the following description without double quotation marks: The greatest thing to ever float on water...🎈⚓️; the only differences compared to its upgrade description on its initial release is the absence of an ellipsis or emojis. Navarch of the Seas was the last of the Paragons to be teased with the generic Paragon template until the teaser for the Magus Perfectus, the Wizard Monkey Paragon, three Paragons after Navarch of the Seas.

Quotes[]

  • New Paragon Tower: Navarch of the Seas!
    • Bringing all 3 paths together under the command of a sharply dressed, market-savvy, pirate-code-adhering military arch-commander. No need for a bigger boat here.
    • We enjoyed bringing Navarch into the mix as it covers both military category and water-heavy maps. With an emphasis on boat farming, destroyer spam for early rounds, and pop farming with active use of hooks it makes it a very different and fun road to Paragon. Portable Lake spam in non-ranked games has also led to some good laughs.

Trivia[]

  • This is the first Military Monkey Paragon, water-based paragon, and Paragon with an activated ability to be released.
  • Navarch of the Seas is the first Paragon that generates income. It is also the first Paragon whose constituent towers have an option for generating income (that being Merchantman and above).
  • It was initially revealed here on December 3rd.
  • This is the third tower capable of dealing percentage based damage to a BAD Bloon regardless of its health (In this case the percentage is 100%/insta killing the BAD bloon). The first tower is the Legend of the Night, and the second is Ezili with her Level 20 MOAB Hex ability.
  • There was a bug where Call To Arms and Homeland Defense could affect Navarch planes. Because of this, Middle path Village, including Homeland Defense, was banned in the Bloonarius event during the week 29.0 released in.
  • Despite having 6 fighter jets in the artwork, the in-game Navarch only has 3.
  • When creating a Navarch of the Seas, the main body of the ship will spawn in first alongside the top right turret. Strangely, the other 5 turrets spawn in a few frames later.
  • If you use mods to get multiple Navarch of the Seas at once, the Trade Empire buff it gives can actually stack on top of each other, causing beastly amounts of end of round cash to be generated at once.
  • This is the third completely irremovable tower under CHIMPS rules, after Pat Fusty and Admiral Brickell. All other towers can either be sacrificed to Adora/Sun Temple/True Sun God, placed on an ice platform from Arctic Wind and above and sold via Support Chinook, temple sacrifice or Total Transformation, or placed on a Carrier Flagship that is then sacrificed.
  • While most Paragons have attack ranges that are greater than their respective base towers, the Navarch of the Seas is the only Paragon whose range matches the base tower, 60 for the both the base Buccaneer and the Navarch of the Seas.
  • According to Ninja Kiwi's official response to the Paragon cap on the "Paragon Limit Update" post, Ninja Kiwi had planned for Navarch of the Seas to apply its Carrier Flagship buff to the Goliath Doomship. However, this specific Paragon synergy had not been implemented in Version 33.0 because Ninja Kiwi "ran out of time". This was later implemented in Version 35.0.
  • In Version 39.0, there is proof that Navarch can't affect its own sellback by the Version 39.0 Favored Trades + Paragons "bug fix". For example, a Trade Empire has 85% sellback with the sellback MK, and if this Trade Empire is the one that other Buccaneers merge into as Navarch, the sellback will be approximately $436k, rather than approximately $494k if Navarch did get affected by its own sellback.
