The Dart Monkey is the main character in the Bloons series. He is a somewhat overweight brown-furred monkey with tan skin and a long curly tail.
The player controls the Dart Monkey's arm to shoot darts with infinite pierce. He has a limited supply of darts, and must pop a certain amount of bloons in order to pass a level. He always stands on a floating platform.
Popping certain bloon types such as the Triple Dart Bloon or the Boomerang Bloon allows him to automatically equip different weapons. In Bloons 2 (including Bloons 2 Christmas Pack and Bloons 2 Spring Fling), he temporarily transforms into the Boomerang Thrower. When popping the Reverse Gravity Bloon, his tail will secure him in place.
He also appears in Hot Air Bloon and its iOS counterpart as the player character. He has a loving wife of an unknown name, dubbed as Damsel Monkey.
His Bloons 1 appearance is on the BTD4 BFB.
