The Boomerang Monkey is ready to send the bloons down under. His ranged boomerang attack just keeps coming back for more.

~ Short description

Boomerang Monkey appears in Bloons Adventure Time TD as the game's Common ally. He behaves the same way as he does in the other BTD games, throwing a sharp boomerang from his right hand in an arc that pops 3 bloons. He only has two upgrades this time around: Multi-Target and Red Hot Rangs. He can be equipped to monkey characters. A maximum of two Boomerang Monkeys can be placed per slot.

Strategy[]

Just like his source games, an unupgraded Boomerang Monkey packs a decent amount of pierce and can handle early game bloons fairly easily, especially if the bloons in front of him move in a curve. The two upgrades in Boomerang Monkey's upgrade tree grants more pierce against denser groups and an improved damage type to counter frozen, lead, and ghost bloons, respectively. However, his most apparent weaknesses also apply to his counterpart in this game, having a medium-slow attack speed and being unable to pop camos.

The Boomerang Monkey also faces competition from the Common Business Men ally, who also boasts similar popping power at a faster attack speed and a lower cost, in addition to allowing more copies to be placed per slot.
