Faster Reload is the first upgrade of Path 2 for the Mortar Monkey in Bloons TD Battles 2. Like its BTD6 counterpart, it increases attack speed from 0.5 attacks per second to 0.6 attacks per second, or decreases base attack cooldown from 2.0s to 1.5s.
It costs $400.

A slight speed increase to allow Mortar to hit at its locations more times per second. The lone 0-1-0 Mortar could be helpful for a bit more early-game reliability on maps such as Bloon Bot Factory.
