Faster Barrel Spin is the Dartling Gun's 3rd upgrade in Bloons Tower Defense 4. In Bloons Tower Defense 5, it is also named Faster Barrel Spin and it is the second upgrade on the first path for the Dartling Gun. The upgrade allows the Dartling Gun to shoot faster.

- In Bloons Tower Defense 4, the fire rate and speed of firing are unaffected when the game is played using fast forward.
- Thus, this tower in Bloons Tower Defense 4 might be more powerful when played on normal speed.
- In Bloons Tower Defense 5, this upgrade increases the fire rate 75%, from one shot every 7 frames to one shot every 4 frames.
- The official artwork has a shaved beard and is saluting but when you see it at top view, you can't see the shaved beard.
- The upgrade button icon shows that it is green instead of blue.
