Extra Damage to Shields is a projectile behavior characterized by dealing more damage than that tower's base damage to Shielded Bloon properties per hit. It is part of the damage types family.

In Bloons Super Monkey 2 and its mobile version, the only source of Extra Damage to Shields is the Shield Suppression research. However, Doom Gauntlets in the Flash version technically has reduced damage against Shielded Bloons instead of Extra Damage.
In Bloons Adventure Time TD, the Penny's Dagger and Doom Gauntlets trinkets boost damage to Shielded Bloons.
