Extra Damage to First Target is a projectile behavior characterized by dealing more damage to the first target hit than the rest of the attack. It is part of the damage types family. It was added alongside the Ray of Doom. As of version 41, there is no other upgrade / tower with this damage type.
Extra Damage to First Target is represented on Bloons Wiki as , the upgrade icon for Ray of Doom in Bloons TD 6, which is the first to receive this specific damage interaction. This is actually a second attack with 1 pierce, which has similar, but slightly different mechanics from Impact, as pierce buffs do not let it damage more than 1 target, and damage buffs will also not apply to this attack.
An important factor with this damage interaction compared to two constituent damage interactions is this: "can we remove the need to account for splitting damage interactions aside from purely the amount of damage done?". If the answer is yes, then the attack constitutes under Extra Damage to First Target . If not, one of the splitted damage interactions involves Impact .
