Extra Burny Stuff is an upgrade in the Military Monkey Knowledge Tree that was first introduced on Version 6.0. It increases damage-per-second tick rate of the Burny Stuff and Blooncineration napalm by 0.25s. It requires four military knowledge points invested. There is no one-off purchase required before unlocking this MK.
With this MK active, napalm from Mortar Monkeys damage at a faster rate. Burny Stuff napalm ticks at a base rate of 1.0s instead of every 1.25s, remaining at 3 ticks over a 3.75s duration but at a faster rate. Blooncineration napalm ticks at a rate of 0.5s instead of every 0.75s, increasing the total ticks over a 3.75s duration from 6 to 7. However, 3+-0-2 Mortars with Burny Stuff tick much faster, damaging at a rate of every 0.375s instead of 0.625s, resulting in 5 ticks over a 1.875s instead of 3.

Having the Extra Burny Stuff MK allows the burning effects from Burny Stuff and above to burn faster. The overall damage from the burn damage-over-time remains fairly similar for most upgrades, with exception of both Blooncineration and Burny Shell Shocks (i.e. 3-0-2 Mortar and above). Blooncineration receives a sizable benefit by ticking faster, accumulating more total ticks since initial ignition and chipping damage against blimps much faster. For 3-0-2 Mortars and above, they get a huge boost in damage, particularly the 5-0-2 Biggest One.
Tips[]
- For upgrades other than those from Shell Shock and above (which can't have both Path 2 and 3 anyway) use the Path 2 crosspath, as Path 1 crosspath will not affect the burn damage-over-time and larger explosions generally aren't as valuable as hitting the same location at a faster rate.
- For 3-0-2 and above Mortars, target in a favorable spot on the map where bloons loop around, as positioning is important, if not paramount for countering the slow attack speed of such Mortars.
- If needing to catch Super Ceramics more reliably when using the 5-0-2 Biggest One, use a Downdraft to manually blow back stragglers. Fortunately, assuming standard health, any Super Ceramics hit by the improved burn including Fortified Super Ceramics will be obliterated in a single go with a very short delay.

Extra Burny Stuff was overall buffed but its effect is damped in Version 28.0 when Burny Stuff got a rework buff.
