Exploding Pineapple is the 1st upgrade on Path 2 of the Monkey Ace in Bloons TD Battles 2. It is almost identical to its BTD6 counterpart, including the bonus explosive crosspathing benefits. Pineapples are dropped every 2.0s, and pineapple crosspath provides extra blast radius and pierce to all explosives from anti-MOAB missiles (from Fighter Plane and above) and Spectre bombs. Each pineapple has a total of 20 pierce (32 with 0-1-1).

In Battles 2, Exploding Pineapples are actually respectable in this game due to its bonus grouped popping power, allowing them to take down early Grouped Reds and weaken Grouped Blues relatively well for a low cost.
Tips[]
- 1-1-0 is the better crosspath for Exploding Pineapple, as this increases rate of pineapples dropping. 0-1-1 isn't really useful, since pineapples already have reasonable pierce and its pineapples mainly serve as an early-game attack.
