Epic Range is the only upgrade for the Super Monkey in Bloons Tower Defense. In Bloons Tower Defense 2, this is instead the upgrade for the bottom path of the Super Monkey. In Bloons Tower Defense 3 and Bloons TD iOS, this upgrade is now the second upgrade of the top path for the Super Monkey. In BTD1 and BTD2, it increases the Super Monkey's range from 140 to 240. In BTD3 and its related ports, this is now preceded by Super Range, thus range instead increases from 190 to 240.
This upgrade costs a different amount of money depending on the game.

BTD1&2[]
Epic Range increases the range of the Super Monkey by +100, for a total of 240 range.
BTD3[]
Epic Range has now been split into two upgrades: Super Range and Epic Range. Epic Range now adds +50 range, for a total of 240 range, thus the total amount of range is unchanged.
Targeting Priorities[]
Laser Vision uses the standard target priorities in BTD3: First and Last. In BTD iOS, Near and Far are also targeting options.

This upgrade adds an absurd amount of range to the Super Monkey, allowing it to cover almost the entire map. This upgrade adds no direct dps stats, so it should primarily be used in BTD3 to further boost the power of Plasma Vision Supers.
Tips[]
- As Super Monkeys are already inefficient in BTD1 and BTD2, this upgrade is typically not worth buying in those games.
- Epic Range Supers are useful to clean up stray bloons from a long distance, and in BTD3, is primarily useful to let Plasma Vision supers reach far into the map.
