Epic Hero is a BTD6 Achievement introduced in the initial release that is achieved when any Hero has reached the maximum level Heroes are able to reach, being Level 20. The reward for achieving Epic Hero is 250.

Strategy

Summary

Epic Hero can be difficult to get for some newer players, as they won't have the upgrades to beat rounds past 80 if they don't manually level up their Hero. This achievement may be achieved through regular play, but it will take some time to being able to earning this achievement. The amount of Monkey Money given for earning Epic Hero can be useful for new players also, since generally newer players will have a small amount of Monkey Money if not purchased from the store.

Tips

• Playing Freeplay can allow the player's Hero to have more time to level up.
• Manually buying levels can help speed up the process of the Hero reaching Level 20.
• Using Heroes like Quincy, Gwendolin, Striker Jones, and Obyn Greenfoot can prove to be easier, as these Heroes gain more Hero XP each round than others.
• Having the Self Taught Heroes or Empowered Heroes Monkey Knowledge can make the process of getting to Level 20 much easier, as Heroes will gain 10% more XP and start at Level 3, allowing the player to spend much less cash and time.
• Playing on Intermediate maps allows Heroes to gain an XP buff compared to Beginner maps. Advanced and Expert maps give a greater buff however these maps can be difficult depending on the players knowledge and upgrades unlocked.
