The Early-Game in Bloons Tower Defense 6 is subjective, like the Mid-Game and Late-Game/Freeplay pages, but it is considered by many to be Rounds 1-40. Since all game modes outside of challenge editor and certain races begin in these rounds, it is the general starting point for many games.
The Early-Game is specifically tailored to send easy Bloon waves to get the player used to the new mechanics, until it starts adding more on in the Mid-Game and sometimes Late-Game. The first Bloons spawn on Round 1 (red), Round 3 (blue), and Round 6 (green), which are the easiest to beat. Round 11 and 15 for yellows and pinks respectively show off fast Bloons, so towers with low projectile speed are unlikely to hit it. Bombs without the middle or bottom path upgraded come into mind in this instance. Round 17 introduces the first Regen Bloons, which aren't an issue if the towers the player has deal constant damage (not Bomb Shooter). The first Camo Bloon comes out on round 24, testing the player's abilities to counter such a Bloon. The first Purple Bloon comes out one round after, and since they are immune to energy projectiles, it is unlikely that the player will have a hard time with them. The first Lead Bloom comes out on round 28, and towers that have the Sharp or Shatter damage type (and probably others, needs checking) can't pop them. Round 38 sends the first Ceramics and Round 40 sends the first MOAB, both of which require high DPS to defeat in time before they reach the exit. After such a point and finishing the "true" Early-Game, specifically in round 45 and 46, the first Fortified Bloons will spawn. In general, the Early-Game will spawn Bloons that give the basic mechanics before combining them together.
