Dungeon Statue is a tower in Bloons TD 6 that was first introduced on Version 35.0. It is unlocked for a single game upon activating both torches on Dark Dungeons, which allows the Dungeon Statue to be activated for $30,000. It can be upgraded twice for $50,000 and $100,000 respectively.

At Level 1, the bolt deals 100 damage. The statue can then be selected like a normal tower, and can be upgraded for $50,000 to Level 2. This increases the bolt's damage to 250 and changes its color to purple. For $100,000, the statue can be further upgraded to Level 3, which further increases the bolt's damage to 500 and turns the bolt pink. The initial cost is affected by the Removable Cost slider in Challenge Editor, but not the subsequent upgrades, and none of the three can be changed via difficulty. The Dungeon Statue's bolt cannot target Purple Bloons, but can target and pop any other Bloon type including camos.

Additionally, the bolt speed also increases from 24 to 30 and 36 when Dungeon statue is be upgraded to level 2 and level 3 (later version 36.0).

Strategy[]

Summary[]

The Dungeon Statue is very expensive in most scenarios, and is primarily intended as an easter egg instead of a mechanic meant to be viable.[1] As a result, utilizing the Dungeon Statue is extremely cost-inefficient. The statue's footprint also will encompass the entire room it occupies, resulting in towers becoming no longer placeable in that room. There is one scenario where the Dungeon Statue can be useful. Buying it in Freeplay after filling the map completely with other towers can help a defense a little more. It is important to buy other towers in that room before buying the Dungeon Statue, as any towers bought before purchasing the statue stay, but its footprint after purchasing does not allow the player to place any more towers once bought.

Tips[]

  • Do not use this to replace a tier 5. It should be used in combination with a stable defense.
  • Use it when you have steady defense and cannot add more.

Trivia[]

  • Dungeon Statue possesses the most expensive of all interactions with environment objects, which no other environmental object can surpass. This still applies even after the significant v44 price buff (the initial price from 50k to 30k, the first upgrade from 100k to 50k, and the final upgrade from 200k to 100k).

Cultural References[]

  • The Dungeon Statue is a reference to the Pondering my Orb meme, as the color and stance of the statue, and the orb's color, resembles the same ones in the meme.
  • According to Rohan from Ninja Kiwi, the Dungeon Statue is called Tim.[2]
