2-0-3 Druid of Wrath

Druid of Wrath is the 3rd upgrade of Path 3 for the Druid in Bloons TD Battles 2. It increases the Druid's attack speed (5% more for every 10 damage it does during a round, up to 100%, resets after 2 seconds of being idle) based on the amount of damage dealt recently. This attack speed bonus is stacked multiplicatively with attack speed bonuses from Heart of Vengeance; at maximum attack speed, it reaches 4x attack speed compared to the base tower. However, it starts with 20% vengeance from the Heart of Vengeance upgrade.

It costs $750, and is unlocked with purchase of Druid.

Strategy

Summary

This upgrade is a reinforcement of the Heart of Vengeance upgrade by allowing a constantly attacking Druid to keep attacking faster. This is especially efficient in conjunction with an existing Heart of Vengeance boost.

Tips

• Use similar strategies needed to optimize Heart of Vengeance to maximize the attack speed of future Druids of Wrath.
• 2-0-3 defends in the early-game better than 0-1-3, quickly firing lightning and cleaning up well with higher-pierce thorns, but 0-1-3 is better in the long-run when going for Avatar of Wrath.
• On Basalt Columns, a 2-0-3 Druid of Wrath with high Heart of Vengeance can beat a lot of early rushes when placed at the top or bottom. It works well until Round 11 where Purples will destroy this Druid.
