The Druid is a specialty tower. They are stronger in Battles 2 due it being easier and more meaningful to utilize it's mechanics, compared to BTD6 but their weaknesses still remain here as in BTD6. Their weaknesses are the generally low pierce of the Druid, making up for the fact that it shoots multiple projectiles per throw as a base tower. Another weakness is the lack of cheap camo options, all of them being restricted to rather expensive Tier 5 upgrades.
Druid can fill wildly different roles depending on what the other towers are used in a loadout. It can specialize in knockback and Pierce, infinite range and monkey generation, or attack speed and damage.
Attack Speed
Druids have average attack speed as a base tower.
However, Path 3 is well known for its ability to increase the Druid's attack speed to insane speeds, relative to each stage of the game upon fulfilling certain requirements.
Damage
Druid of the Jungle and its subsequent upgrades can instakill the strongest non-MOAB-class bloon on screen.
Avatar of Wrath can increase the damage it deals as more RBE fills up the players' side of the screen that has the Avatar of Wrath.
Pierce
Druid pierce can be low, medium, and high, depending on what path is chosen.
Range
Druidic Reach is a cheap range upgrade,
Druid of the Jungle and its subsequent upgrades can instakill the strongest non-MOAB-class bloon on screen.
Jungle's Bounty can more significantly increase the range of the Druid.
Spirit of the Forest vines can spread to every part of the track.
Support
Druid has one direct buffing option: Poplust, which increases attack speed and pierce of all druid monkeys, no matter the upgrades of cross paths chosen, in range of it, like Shinobi Tactics. Unlike it, it can only stack five times not on itself but with bigger buff values.
Power
Overall, the Druid has a risky, but excellent early game, a decent mid-game and good late-game.
Hard Thorns lets the Druid pop any bloons type besides camo bloons and increases pierce by 1. It now only requires camo detection or decamo to damage DDTs.
Occasionally spawns thunder in a similar way to Lightning Bolt from the Monkey Apprentice in BTD5. It's amazing for catching leaks and grouped popping power. However, it has low damage and is only useful in the early game.
Heart of thunder can also scale its damage with Avatar of Wrath, although at half the rate (?) of its main attack. Still not as good as 0-1-5 Druid.
Gains a Tornado attack that blowback bloons, like Downdraft. Can allow for towers to pop bloons that have previously gotten past them.
Without suitable popping power in the area where the bloons land, it's possible to use the opponent's Druid of the Storm to create regrow farms that will eventually overwhelm the opponent.
Adds an attack that occasionally spawns a ball of lightning. This ball of lightning moves slowly but creates stronger lightning bolts at a fast speed that act in a similar way to Heart of Thunder. Rather expensive and still cannot see camo bloons.
SuperStorm can now see camo bloons by itself and can spawn massive tornados capable of blowing back MOAB-class bloons. Not very much is going to get past it but is really expensive for a Tier 5 upgrade.
Increases the DPS of the Druid by increasing the number of thorns per throw from 5 to 8. Commonly used with Avatar of Wrath since more thorns are going to have increased damage when more RBE is on your side of the screen.
Periodically spawns a vine that insta-kills the strongest non-blimp bloon on screen.
Due to the vine attack being quite slow, it is mostly relegated to a stepping stone, though in large numbers, can demolish any spaced, regular-bloon rush.
Gains an ability that grants the user $1,000 cash per ability use with an equivalent of 150 eco.
Compared to other forms of ability income, this one is cheaper to set up and its attack speed can be buffed with Heart of Vengeance and Poplust from other Druids.
Spawns vines onto the track that deal continuous damage to bloons and deal more continuous damage the closer they are to the Spirit of the Forest. The ability now restores lives and can go over 150 lives. Note that extra lives do not matter in Sudden Death and you are treated as if you have 150 lives. Useful for eliminating bloon rushes due to the vines making them not an issue.
This can conflict with the Heart of Vengeance attack speed bonus due to restoring lives diminishing the attack speed bonus.
Immediately gains a 20% attack speed bonus and an additional 1% attack speed bonus for every 1 life that is lost for a total of 100% attack speed bonus for full effect. Note that 80 lives have to be lost for a 100% attack speed bonus and Heart of Vengeance will only use the current amount of lives for the attack speed bonus at the time of each purchase.
This means that it might be impossible without losing the game for Heart of Vengeance to gain a full attack speed bonus
Gains attack speed as long as it continues to attack bloons. The full effect goes away after two seconds of not attacking. This is will not interfere with its previous upgrade attack speed bonus and is separate from it also.
People using this upgrade most likely will put this in the front to minimize downtime of the effect.
Buffs other druids of any upgrade and/or tier with an attack speed bonus and pierce bonus, like Shinobi Tactics. However, it can't buff itself and it stacks less in return for bigger buffs.
Gains +1 damage for every 3,000 RBE (?) on your side of the screen for a max of +28 damage (?). This affects both the natural bloons and bloons sends. Already comes with its previous attack speed bonuses for an insane attack speed and damage.
Useful against rushes since the opponent is now powering up your Avatar of Wrath since the bloons they send are counted to power up your Avatar of Wrath.

Druid countermeasures
2-0-3
Mostly used to clean up bloons when the player is done leaking lives to not accidentally lose the game.
3-0-2
If you see this upgrade and want to rush your opponent, sneak in some Regrow Ceramics to force a regrow farm. Overtime, if your opponent has no degrow options such as Heart of Oak, Embrittlement or Grow Blocker, your opponent will be overwhelmed and die to the rush.
Jungle's bounty relies on the ability to make cash so to anti-stall the rounds by making the natural bloons be completely popped quickly, you can also try to slow down their Druid farming by sending the opponent bloon rushes which will force them to spend money for defenses delaying the farming or forces them to sell Jungle's Bounty Druids to buy defenses or the opponent loses the match it's best to rush your opponent as soon as possible to delay their Druid Farming before it snowballs later in the game.
Other Advice[]
If you see the opponent's Druids having their respective unique cosmetics, the opponent has unlocked all upgrades for Druid. In that case, prepare for all possible upgrades.
