Diversion Tactics is an upgrade in the Magic Monkey Knowledge tree introduced in the initial version of Bloons TD 6. Once Diversion Tactics is activated, the chances all attacks of Ninja Monkey with Distraction successfully distracting a Bloon is increased by +5% respectively. To unlock Diversion Tactics, the player must have 4 Monkey Knowledge Points invested into the Magic Monkey Knowledge tree, and the 'Cheaper Doubles' MK active.
Diversion Tactics is an alright MK, while it makes it more likely for Distraction to succeed, it's chances are still somewhat low and it's still kind of unreliable at blowing back Bloons unlike Downdraft. It lowers the Distraction RNG by 5% but sometimes it can seem like there is no difference. It's better to buy multiple 0-2-0 Ninja Monkeys still instead of relying on a 1-2 of them.
Tips[]
While Distraction may still be unreliable and RNG-based, Diversion Tactics is still required for the 'Deadly Tranquility' MK, which is one of the better Ninja Monkey MK's due to its ability to even affect the Ascended ShadowParagon.
This may help somewhat during RNG challenges that involve Distraction with Monkey Knowledge enabled, with its increased chances.
