~ BTDB2 description
Two cryo

Two Cryo Cannons, one 0-1-3 and one 0-2-3

Cryo Cannon is the 3rd upgrade on Path 3 of the Ice Monkey in Bloons TD Battles 2. It is almost identical to its BTD6 counterpart, with the few differences being that this works just like the BTD6 pre-34.0 with it attacks slightly faster compared to BTD6 counterpart (base attack cooldown of 1.15s instead of 1.2s), costs less, and freezes fewer bloons when compared to the base Ice Monkey. Cryo Cannon shoots snowballs that deal 2 damage and freeze up to 30 bloons. These snowballs are shot at a rate of every 1.15s (or 0.8625s with Enhanced Freeze).

It costs $1,750, and is unlocked with the purchase of Ice Monkey.

Strategy[]

Summary[]

Cryo Cannon's specialty is its accurate stalling, particularly effective against Ceramics. It has got a moderate attack speed, unlike the very slow attack speed of a normal Ice Monkey. The extra damage from Cryo Cannon's snowballs also helps destroy bloons more effectively.

Tips[]

  • 0-1-3 is often better for its general popping, but 2-0-3 works better if going towards Icicle Impale without MIB.
