Most people decide that the best strategy for this upgrade is to set it to Strong as its target priority, allowing it to always target a MOAB class bloon if there is one on the screen,ut this is not the case. Instead, place your Cripple MOAB Sniper Monkeys close to the start of the track and set their target priority to Close. 50 Cripple MOAB Snipers and a Sun God (Super Monkey 3-x) will pop almost every bloon. (Only works in BTD5 as you can only have one Cripple MOAB in BTD6.

- When combining a Cripple MOAB with a Monkey Village with Jungle Drums, the targeted MOAB-Class Bloon will never move until it gets popped. This is good againist ZOMGs.
