CorrosiveGlue

2-1-0 Glue Gunner with Corrosive Glue applying Corrosive Glue onto affected bloons

Corrosive Glue is a status effect characterized by the use of a corrosive glue to slow down bloons and slowly deal damage to them. It is part of the damage types family. It has appeared since Bloons TD 4, with the introduction of the Glue Gunner's Corrosive Glue upgrade.

Corrosive Glue is represented on Bloons Wiki as Corrosive Glue (unspecified alt effect variant), the upgrade icon for Corrosive Glue in Bloons TD 6, which appears to be a broken apart bloon. There is a glue prioritization system in Bloons TD 6 introduced since Version 3.0; the higher the corrosiveness of the glue, the higher rank the glue becomes. Corrosive Glue will always replace Standard Glue Standard Glue (unspecified alt effect variant) no matter the tier of the originating Glue Gunner; even a mere 2-0-0 Glue Gunner can override the properties of any MOAB Glue other than 2-0-3.

Bloons affected by Corrosive Glue will be accompanied by a Slowdown Slowdown (unspecified slowdown variant) and will slowly be dealt damage every few seconds. Corrosive Glue cannot stack with other variants of Corrosive Glue but stronger variants of Glue will replace the Corrosive Glue status effect with a glue of a higher rank. Once a bloon is glued with a glue that is greater than or equal to its rank, the Glue Gunner with Corrosive Glue cannot affect the same bloon again until the glue wears out, be it naturally or unnaturally. Again, Corrosive Glue status effects can override Standard Glue Standard Glue (unspecified alt effect variant) effects no matter the tier of the originating glue.

The only upgrade to have the Corrosive Glue status effect is Corrosive Glue.
