Cooldown Reduction is an "attack" behavior characterized by reducing cooldowns of an activated ability. All "attacks" with Cooldown Reduction are guaranteed to be of Passive type and always have Targets Tower(s) and considered a Tower Buff . It was introduced in Bloons TD 5 with the introduction of Energy Beacon and Hotter Cooldown.
Cooldown Reduction is represented on Bloons Wiki as , the upgrade artwork for Energizer in Bloons TD 6, which reduces ability cooldowns of all towers on screen. For "attacks" that involve resetting an ability's cooldown, it is marked Cooldown Reset .
In Bloons Supermonkey 2 Mobile, Cooldown Reduction only applies to Epic Powers when their ability is not active. This is not the case in Flash, as cooldown reduction still takes effect while the ability is active. The cooldown time that *can* be reduced by cooldown reduction is arbitrarily referred to as inactive duration cooldown.
Most "attacks" require an upgrade to gain or grant Cooldown Reduction.
