Convert Lead Into Gold is a status effect introduced in Bloons TD 6 characterized by converting a non-DDT Lead into $50 income as long as the attack hits the Lead at least once. Upon the affected Lead being popped, an instant $50 (or $25 on Half Cash, $100 if Double Cash is enabled, $0 on Deflation Mode or CHIMPS, or $0 with invalid Leads) is produced. Leads affected by this will trigger a visual income generation text above the destroyed bloon, the text of which indicates the gain of income for purely visual purposes only.
Convert Lead Into Gold is represented on the Bloons Wiki with , which depicts the upgrade icon for Lead to Gold.
Convert Lead Into Gold is a status effect of Lead to Gold, and this status effect is established as separate due to the pre-23.0 Lead to Gold that didn't one-shot Leads or Fortified Leads. The only source of this status effect is Lead to Gold and its further upgrades via any offensive acid attacks, of which comes with Extra Damage to Leads too.
Only real Lead Bloons produce the visual income generation text once destroyed by an attack with this status effect. The only invalid Lead Bloons that can also trigger said text are Regrow Leads have resulted from being regenerated (to prevent Alchemist Farming, a type of Regrow Farming) or Leads on any game mode that bans extrapolative income generation.
