Various MOAB-class bloons with Concoction status effect
Concoction is a status effect in Bloons TD 6. Any applicable bloon affected by this status effect included blimps upon destruction will produce a devastating explosion onto all nearby bloons other than its descendants.
Bloons Wiki represents this status effect with 
, the upgrade icon for Unstable Concoction, an upgrade that can grant this status. This status effect does not have an immediate reaction and its effects can only be activated by popping the blimp layer. Visual depiction may vary; for Unstable Concoction, blimps affected by this will be covered in pink spilled chemical, while bloons affected by Psi will instead vibrate vigorously before creating orange-colored pulse waves. Concoction status utilizes a Shrapnel 
style of attack because effect does not affect the source bloon or its own bloon children.
Unstable Concoction is one of the unique upgrade in Bloons TD 6 to inflict this status effect. Level 18+ Geraldo's Creepy Idol Mystical Shroud effect is the other example.
Level 8+ Psi's secondary Destructive Resonance attack is considered another example of Concoction, despite utilizing psychic powers instead of a chemical concoction. That being said, Psi's psychic attack indeed applies a status effect that inflicts a very similar effect for the affected bloons. Once a bloon dies from vibration inflicted by Level 8+ Psi, it will produce an explosion that affects nearby bloons.
