Cheaper Maiming is an upgrade in the Military Monkey Knowledge tree. It decreases the cost of the Maim MOAB upgrade by $1,000 regardless of game mode. It requires four military knowledge points invested and Ceramic Shock.

Buying this upgrade makes it cheaper to spam in Maim MOABs. For strategies that rely on 4-2-0 Maim MOAB spam to tackle grouped MOAB-class, this is highly beneficial.
Having Cheaper Maiming allows the player to afford a Maim MOAB by Round 40 easier to counter the MOAB and its children with almost no problem. This is especially the case if the player decides to do mass-farming in the earlier rounds.

Maim MOAB and Bloon Liquefier used to cost the same as each other, so the respective discount effects from their respective MK, this MK and Cheaper Solution, formerly meant the respective new prices to also be the same too. This was because the discount for both MK Points were discounting by $1000. This was changed when Bloon Liquefier got another price buff down to $5000 on Medium.
