Setup
The player begins with 650 money and 100, 75, or 50 lives, depending on the starting level in Bloons TD2.
Maps
The three maps are based on difficulty level, with the easy (blue) map having the most length, medium (green) map a shorter single track, and the hard (yellow) map containing two short tracks that cross.
Towers
Towers in Bloons TD2 are permitted two upgrades, much like in Bloons TD1 but unlike the following versions. The following are the available towers, with their in-game price by level (easy/medium/hard)
- Dart Monkey (250//285 money)
- Tack Shooter (340//390 money)
- Ice Ball (385//440 money)
- Cannon (520//600 money)
- Boomerang (475//545 money)
- Super Monkey (3200//4160 money)
- Road Spikes (25//30 money)
- Will exist until it has popped ten bloons or the round has ended, whichever applies first.
- Monkey Glue (35//40 money)
- Will exist until it has affected twenty bloons or the round has ended, whichever applies first.
