Captain Churchill

Captain Churchill is a Hero who first appears in the Bloons TD 6 Generation, starting with Bloons TD 6. He was the first new hero introduced after the initial release of Bloons TD 6, being the fifth playable hero to be released for that game generation. He has since subsequently appeared in later games.

Description[]

Appearance[]

Captain Churchill normally appears in his Level 1 counterpart. He sits in his tank with only his head clearly visible. He is relatively short compared to most heroes. Usually, he looks grumpy, but he does like to smile.

Captain Churchill is a tank operator. When he is out of his tank, he is actually a short monkey with a full suit, belt, and black shoes. He is the second shortest hero, the first being Psi (who is a child).^[1]

Background[]

Captain Churchill has a British accent, most noticeably shown by pronouncing the letter "Z" as "zed" when pronouncing "Z.O.M.G.". It is implied that Captain Churchill's nationality is British, mainly influenced by his patriotic passion for war. It can also be implied that Captain Churchill is heavily based on Sir Winston Churchill, prime minister of the United Kingdom who led the country during World War II.

Personality[]

As a "no-nonsense powerhouse on the battlefield", he is almost always very serious and usually never smiles, except in Bloons Pop! and his Sleigh Churchill skin. Churchill also does not hesitate to speak out blasphemy; an example of this is when he calls out "Hell from above!" when firing MOAB Barrage.

Interests[]

He makes a lot of special modifications to his tank, including transformations to his first Hero Skin, Sentai Churchill.^[2]

Captain Churchill really enjoys anime, particularly Full Metal Alchemist. He also reads manga in his spare time. In addition, his favorite video game is World of Tanks.^[2]

Hero Skins[]

As of present, Captain Churchill has a total of four Hero Skins. Two of them appear in Bloons TD 6, one in Bloons TD Battles 2, and two in Bloons Pop!.

Sentai Churchill[]

Sentai Churchill is Churchill's second skin, first released to Bloons TD 6 on Version 8.0, and the third Hero skin to be ever released.

Sentai Churchill returns to Bloons TD Battles 2 as a Hero Alt of Captain Churchill. He was released in Version 1.1.0 alongside normal Captain Churchill himself. Sentai Churchill's attacks focus on energetic power, with added Laser Shock effects in exchange for lower pierce, a quicker attacking High Energy Shells ability, and a persistent barrage of energy at fewer blimps in the form of his Orbital Barrage.

Sentai Churchill is based on the Super Sentai series, hence "Sentai" in these shows cool looking robots/vehicles beat up various monsters. His tank is lime-green, and he wears a Super Sentai outfit of a similar color. As revealed in Bloons TD Battles 2, Sentai Churchill's tank is able to transform into a robot, in a similar way to Transformers.

Sleigh Churchill[]

Sleigh Churchill (or "Sleigh Churchill Skin" in Bloons Pop!) made its first appearance in Bloons Pop!, introduced on Version 4.0. He is the first Hero Skin for Churchill in that game. He later makes appearance in Bloons TD 6 since the Version 34.0 update, in time for Christmas 2022.

Sleigh Churchill transforms his appearance to ride in a gun-mounted sleigh, himself inside a large green present. He now wears a Santa hat and speaks in a jolly Santa-like tone. Much of his weaponry has changed to involve presents. He is much more joyful but is also much more pompous about his Christmas responsibility as "delivery boy".

Rubber Ducky Churchill[]

Rubber Ducky Churchill is exclusive to Bloons Pop!, introduced on Version 7.0. He is the second Hero Skin for Churchill in that game.
