Call to Arms Ability: Gives nearby Monkeys +50% attack speed and pops for a short time.
”
~ Upgrade description
Call To Arms is the 4th upgrade on Path 2 of the Monkey Village in Bloons TD Battles 2. It can be compared to its old BTD6 counterpart, except initial cooldown removed but has a much lower duration. Call To Arms affects all towers within local range, lasting for up to 8 seconds, compared to 15 seconds in BTD6. Additionally, it is also slightly more expensive, accounting for previous price decreases to Radar Scanner and Monkey Intelligence Bureau. Ability cooldown is still 45 seconds.
It costs $23,500, and is unlocked with purchase of Monkey Village.
Call To Arms packs with huge power under the right hands; giving +50% attack speed and +50% pierce makes a large difference to supporting a heavy defense, and it has a lot of synergy potential. One noteworthy synergy is when buffing many Spike Storms, to which spikes become extremely densely packed, though this only increases its attack speed rather than pierce. In this game, Call To Arms requires better timing to make heavy use of its dual speed-and-pierce benefit, as the ability duration is much less compared to BTD6.
Tips[]
Call To Arms is best used with 2-4-0, as its buff is range-limited.

There aren’t many strategies that depend on MIB, so we’ve made a decent price cut to it while increasing the x4x price so that this upgrade doesn’t indirectly receive a buff.
