Brittle is a status effect introduced in Bloons TD 6 characterized by temporarily causing the affected bloon to become vulnerable to sources that normally cannot pop frozen or lead properties.

Brittle is represented on the Bloons Wiki with Brittle (temporarily becomes vulnerable to sharp and freezing damage), which depicts the upgrade icon for Embrittlement in Bloons TD 6, as this upgrade can apply the brittle effect. Visual brittling is difficult to observe, and it usually observed by seeing normally sharp-based attacks dealing damage to frozen bloons nearby the towers inflicting Brittle. Brittle cannot stack but can be refreshed. Brittle is often accompanied by Cripple Cripple (unspecified cripple variant).

Embrittlement and Super Brittle can inflict this status effect, with Embrittlement fully gaining this in 28.0. Glue Strike and Glue Storm also received this in 29.0.
