Bonus Monkey! is an upgrade in the Primary Monkey Knowledge tree. It makes the first Dart Monkey placed per game free, in a similar effect to the Monkey City upgrade. If a free Glue Gunner affected by Bonus Glue Gunner is placed, the provided free Dart Monkey becomes voided. Bonus Monkey! requires 10 primary knowledge points invested, Come On Everybody!, and a one-time purchase of 
1,000.

The biggest value out of this MK Point is the lack of a need to pay money for the first Dart Monkey placed. This in turn makes early-game much easier to manage, especially in game modes that require the need to save money and when playing Impoppable difficulty. By having the free Dart Monkey, which pops bloons for no cost, it defends against the bloons while more money can be spend on extra defense or farming; this is best utilized on Half Cash and Boss Bloon Events, but also beneficial on Race Events to better afford Spike-o-pult.
Note that there is mutual exclusivity with the free Glue Gunner from 
Bonus Glue Gunner, so choose the free tower wisely. However, the free Dart Monkey does pay itself off by popping the bloons.
Tips[]
- This MK is very useful on Half Cash due to how much it saves for the early game.
- Plan the placement of the Dart Monkey carefully, as it does not become free again after selling.
- In most cases, the free Dart Monkey can be safely kept around as a starting tower. The only exceptions to this are if the player is trying to utilize the discount portion of the "Come On Everybody!" MK, or on a map where Primary Monkeys are generally subpar.
- Like all free tower benefits, the free Dart Monkey from "Bonus Monkey!" doesn't affect XP distribution for towers. Not upgrading the free Dart Monkey nets no Dart Monkey XP.

Players who had unlocked Bonus Monkey! prior to Version 30.0 retain the MK, since the upgrade is not revoked from the player.

- "Bonus Monkey!" is possibly a reference to the Bloons Monkey City Monkey Knowledge for the Dart Monkey at Rank 3, 8, 13 that grants a free Dart Monkey per game, with Rank 3 being the closest match to the "Bonus Monkey!" effect.
- The free monkey limit was able to be circumvented if only one of the free monkey MK was unlocked. This could be done by placing down the unlocked free monkey, playing a round, exiting to home and unlocking the other free monkey MK, and then placing down the second free monkey. Patched as of v32.
