Bonus Income Per Pop is an "attack" behavior characterized by providing an extrapolative cash gain via bloons, regardless of whether it is to do with pops or not. It is part of the damage types family. All "attacks" with Bonus Income Per Pop guaranteed to be of Passive type. Bonus Income Per Pop was introduced in Bloons TD 5, with the Monkey Town upgrade for the Monkey Village, and is also added for Bloon Trap in many editions of the BTD5 generation.
Bonus Income Per Pop is represented on Bloons Wiki as , the upgrade artwork for Monkey Town in Bloons TD 6, which appears like a burst of cash from bloons as Monkey Town would, conveniently. Like its superset Bonus Income
, Bonus Income Per Pop provides an extrapolative gain of bonus cash, which means Bonus Income Per Pop is also banned on CHIMPS Mode; however, only Bonus Income Per Pop is augmented by the Double Cash Premium Upgrade, unlike any other Bonus Income types (except for non-Flash versions of BTD5, in which the premium upgrade augments all types of Bonus Income). Bonus Income Per Pop is distinguishable from Bonus Income because Monkey City does not provide a bonus to "attacks" with this property.
An example of Bonus Income Per Pop is Monkey Town, which grants bonus +50% income per pop by default. Rubber to Gold provides +$2 per pop for bloons affected by Gold status effect. In Bloons TD 6, Bloon Traps and other trap-based attacks, which use Trap
, produce as much bonus cash as it would if the bloons were popped conventionally but with an extra income bonus added on top. Similarly applies for Pirate Lord. Monkey Pirates is a bit of an odd-ball, as hooking in a blimp itself adds no bonus but adding Rubber to Gold and/or Monkey Town boosts the income amount, but it in itself cannot count for Bonus Income Per Pop
. Benjamin's Skimming is considered a Bonus Income Per Pop despite not technically being a per-pop, because Skimming is not a true pure Bonus Income
since its generation of cash per bloon spawn is not affected by Monkey City.
Most "attacks" require an upgrade to Bonus Income Per Pop.
